Credit use and other funding programs

The credit is not refundable or transferable. Its program year is fixed, so an award does not automatically run 365 days from the approval date. Reapply every year.

The city also links House of Friendship’s Family Outreach program for families with children 17 and under, and KidSport grants for eligible dance or sports participation by children 18 and under in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Those programs have their own applications and do not change the city credit’s residence and income rules. The household limits above are the specific values published by this city, not another municipality’s eligibility table.
